This compact extender allows you to use standard, low cost CAT5e/6 cable to extend a standard PS/2 keyboard and mouse at distances of up to 100m. Simple to install, the extender consists of a local transmitter unit which connects to your computer and a remote unit for connection to your keyboard and mouse.
The extender uses balun technology to convert PS/2 signals for use over patch cables, or your structured cabling system. Typical applications include operating computers from within non-secure environments (use in conjunction with our VGA extenders)
